On the Ersha Island in Guangzhou, the Xinghai Concert Hall is one of the most prestigious classical music venues in southern China. Named after the famous Chinese composer Xian Xinghai, the hall serves as a major center for symphonic music, chamber concerts and international performances.
Since its opening in 1998, the concert hall has hosted leading orchestras, conductors and soloists from around the world, supporting at the same time the development of classical music in the Guangdong / Hong-Kong / Macao Greater Bay Area.
