The Jiangmen Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum explores the global migration history of the Wuyi region, which includes Xinhui, Taishan, Kaiping, Enping and Heshan. For more than a century, millions of people from this region emigrated overseas, forming large Chinese communities across Southeast Asia, North America, Australia and Europe. The museum documents their journeys, struggles and achievements, highlighting how overseas Chinese contributed to both their host countries and the development of their hometowns in Guangdong.
