The Shenzhen Museum of History and Folk Culture explores the transformation of the region from traditional rural villages to one of China’s most dynamic modern cities.
The museum focuses on the cultural heritage and daily life of local communities before the rapid urbanization that followed the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in 1980.
