Beyond martial arts, Foshan has long been a hub of commerce and culture, historically known as one of China’s “Four Great Commercial Capitals” alongside Beijing, Suzhou, and Hankou.

Foshan is also renowned for its Southern Lion Dance, holding the title “King of Lion Kings” alongside Wing Chun Kung Fu. The city’s heritage is equally reflected in Shiwan pottery, earning it the title “Porcelain Capital of South China.” Furthermore, Foshan is the birthplace of Cantonese Opera, a center for Guang Yarn textiles, and a key origin of Lingnan traditional Chinese medicine.

Today, visitors can explore Foshan’s rich cultural and natural attractions, including:
- Foshan Zumiao (Ancestral Temple)
- Kang Youwei’s Former Residence
- Xiqiao Mountain
- Shanshui Lotus World
- Sanshui Forest Park and Jiudao Valley

Among these, the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, dating back to the Ming Dynasty, is celebrated as a “Living Cultural Relic.”
