Located in the heart of Shunde District, Shunfengshan Park is one of the area’s best-known recreational and cultural landmarks.

Covering a vast landscape of hills, lakes, gardens and walking paths, the park offers visitors a peaceful escape from the busy urban environment of Foshan.

About the Archway

One of the park’s most recognizable element is its monumental Shunfengshan Archway, sometimes considered as Asia's biggest gate.

This traditional Chinese-style door forms an impressive entrance to the park with elaborate rooflines, columns and decorative details.

About the Park

It is built around the natural landscape of Shunfeng Mountain, with its combination of wooded hills and large areas of water. Rather than a conventional garden, the park is designed as a large recreational landscape, particularly pleasant in the early morning or late afternoon.

The park's lakes and waterways create a series of scenic viewpoints, where you can walk and enjoy the landscape without following a demanding hiking route. The combination of water, vegetation and traditional architectural elements gives the park a distinctly Chinese landscape atmospher such as for Guangdong's Traditional Gardens.
