Also known as Qixingyan, the area is one of Guangdong’s most iconic natural landscapes, famed for its unique karst formations and tranquil lake scenery. Often described as a fairyland on earth, the site combines limestone peaks, clear waters, caves, and lush vegetation into a harmonious whole.
The name “Seven Star Crags” comes from seven limestone peaks arranged in a pattern resembling the Big Dipper constellation. Rising dramatically from the surface of Star Lake, they create a breathtaking view that has inspired poets, painters, and travelers for centuries.
