About the history of Flower in the Mirror

The novel’s central myth tells of a grand banquet where the Hundred Flower Fairies disobey the orders of the supreme deity. As punishment, they are banished from heaven and reincarnated on Earth as mortal women . According to the tale, these fairies were born specifically in the Lingnan region of Heyuan, which is the very location of the modern-day scenic area . This legend establishes the site as the mythical Hometown of the Hundred Flower Fairies , transforming the natural landscape into a dreamland of classical literature where visitors can walk the same paths as the legendary flower immortals .
